Will told me yesterday totally at random, 

"Someday, mom, we will hold a guinea pig."

(I didn't even know he knew what a guinea pig was)

yuck, I thought. I'm not really a guinea pig sort of person. 

I'm slowly becoming a person who likes animals. 

I like our cats. 

I really do. 

Isaac--he also really likes them. 

I think "kitty" might be his first word. 

I'll be waiting for that sweet first "mama" and he'll probably look over my shoulder in Puddle's direction and say "kitty."
